Chelsea will be away to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, and with Chelsea trying to recover from injury problems, Antonio Conte has admitted that Victor Moses, N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater won’t feature against Eddie Howe’s men.
He said in his press conference: “Moses is out and I think for him we must have patience to have him back in the team. N’Golo is still not ready and we will have to wait and have him back for the Roma game. Danny played against Everton but for sure he needs to find the right physical condition. The other players are available.”
Conte has seen a huge number of his key players suffer injury problems, and he has admitted that he doesn’t have luck in that regard this season.
The Chelsea boss told the media: “In this moment we have to try and overcome this period. Don’t forget from the start of the season we faced a lot of problems. We had the Hazard problem and the problem with Pedro in pre-season.
“We’ve had the problem with Danny when he started to train with us and N’Golo had a problem with the national team. We’ve now got the problem with Moses. I think our start to this season wasn’t lucky for many reasons. We are doing well and we have the points that we deserve in the league.
“We are doing well in the Champions League and we are in the last eight of the Carabao Cup. Last season we were knocked out by West Ham in the second round. We have to continue to work and find out new potential players like Ampadu. We are doing big work.”
