Chelsea boss Antonio Conte won’t let Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda leave Chelsea on loan in January according to a report on Standard Sport.
According to the report, Conte wants Musonda at Chelsea for the rest of the season because he believes Musonda has a lot to offer, especially with the senior side struggling with the intense fixture list this season.
Chelsea were considering sending Musonda on loan in January in order for him to get regular first-team football but the Belgium U21 international is now set to stay at Chelsea for the rest of the season.
Musonda has already made four appearances this season for Chelsea, although only one of them was a start — against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup. He also scored his first Chelsea goal in the 5-1 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Musonda is expected to start in the League Cup game against Everton on Wednesday.
