Tiemoue Bakayoko joined Chelsea from Ligue 1 champions Monaco for around £40m in July and so far the 23-year-old has had a good start to his Chelsea career.
Former Chelsea defender Graeme Le Saux, believes the Frenchman has what it takes to replace Nemanja Matic in the Chelsea midfield.
Matic has been amazing for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, but Le Saux thinks Bakayoko would even improve with more Premier League experience.
Le Saux told Starsport: “I believe Bakayoko has what it takes, he has enormous amounts of potential but just needs to gain some Premier League experience and display some consistency as injuries have held him back a bit so far.
“That isn’t to take away from what Matic offers a club as a player however, as the impact he’s had at Manchester United is there for all to see.”
