22-year-old Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic, currently on loan at Spartak Moscow, came off the bench for Croatia in their 1-1 home draw against Finland. Pasalic replaced Mandzukic five minutes from time.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, currently on loan at Premier League side Swansea City, was on target for England U21 in their 3-1 European Championship qualifying win over Scotland. Fikayo Tomori, currently on loan at Hull City, was an unused substitute.
Danilo Pantic, currently on loan at Partizan Belgrade, started in Serbia U21’s 2-0 win in Macedonia.
Chelsea youngsters Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, Dujon Sterling and Mason Mount all started in England U19’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Czech Republic.
