Chelsea star Eden Hazard was impressive against Bournemouth, scoring the only goal of the game and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard believes Bournemouth players were scared of Hazard.
“From the moment Hazard came to Chelsea his talent was on display, but he’s developed as a player,” Lampard told BT Sport.
“Now he’s at that point in his career when he has to be the dominant player in that Chelsea team and make things happen.
“And he’s doing it. We keep talking about trying to stay with the top teams who are flying and you need your best players to step up.
“Morata missed those chances today so you need to next player to step up and that was Hazard.
“He’s a great talent. A club like Chelsea can’t be reliant on one player and I don’t want to talk down Pedro and Willian who had fantastic seasons last year.
“But for moments of magic and little clips of skill, the Bournemouth players were very scared of Eden Hazard tonight.”
