LOAN REPORT: TWO CHELSEA LOANEES ON TARGET WHILE AINA STAR IN HULL CITY’S 6-1 VICTORY

Two Chelsea loanees found the back of the net during last weekend’s round of matches.

Marco van Ginkel and Mason Mount scored for their respective clubs in the Dutch League. Van Ginkel scored from the penalty spot for PSV Eindhoven in a 4-0 victory over Willem II. Mount scored his first goal for Vitesse Arnhem as he scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Utrecht two minutes after coming off the bench. Charlie Colkett was also a second-half substitute in that game, while Matt Miazga and Fankaty Dabo had their usual spots in defence.

In the Premier League, In the Premier League, Tammy Abraham played up front for Swansea City this weekend as they were beaten by a stoppage-time goal at West Ham. Kurt Zouma was involved in Stoke City’s late 2-1 victory against Southampton while Izzy Brown led the line from the start for Brighton, who lost 2-0 at Arsenal.

In the Championship, Michael Hector and Ola Aina were involved as Hull City defeated Birmingham 6-1 during the weekend, and Chelsea youngster Jeremy Boga who’s on loan to Birmingham was on the receiving end.

Tomas Kalas played in two away victories for Fulham, who won 2-1 at QPR on Friday night.

Blues goalkeeper Jamal Blackman who’s on loan to Sheffield United, was in goal in Tuesday night’s impressive 2-0 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Wolves, but then tasted defeat with the Blades on Saturday when they were beaten 2-1 by Forest. Ike Ugbo played in Barnsley’s 1-1 draw with QPR last Tuesday, when Lewis Baker started for Middlesbrough, who lost 1-0 to Norwich. Baker then came off the bench for Boro in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Brentford.
