Alvaro Morata’s Chelsea career has started with a bang as he already has seven goals to his name for Chelsea.

The Spain international last scored in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, and has been unable to find the back of the net since returning from the injury he suffered against Manchester City.

However, Antonio Conte is happy with his performance and told the media that Morata has shown huge commitment and is only trying to recover from injury.

He said: “If you remember before the international break he was injured after 20 minutes in the Manchester City game. In the Crystal Palace and Everton games he didn’t play. He’s only played against Watford.

“I am happy with his commitment and performances. Tomorrow he has another opportunity to play. For me, it’s not important for the striker to score. It’s important for the team that he plays well.”
