Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has signed Alvaro Morata twice as a manager. The first was during his time as Juventus boss and the second was as Chelsea manager.

Morata has revealed that the Italian even tried signing him since last spring and owes him a debt for having faith in him.

“We started talking about my eventual transfer last spring and I finally came to London,” said Morata.

“I’m in debt with Conte. He had taken me for Juventus and then left for Italy. When I knew he wanted me, I didn’t think twice.”
