Everton will be away at Chelsea on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup as both teams will fight to make it to the quarterfinals of the competition.
The Toffees will be without key midfielder Idrissa Gueye when they take on Chelsea in the League Cup fourth round.
The Senegalese international was given his marching orders during his side’s 5-2 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday and will now miss Wednesday’s clash as he serves a one-game suspension for receiving a second booking at Goodison Park.
Gueye is Everton’s midfield powerhouse and his loss will be a huge blow for Ronald Koeman’s men who are struggling for form this season.
A win for Chelsea on Wednesday would send Conte’s men through to the quarter-finals of the competition.
