The Blues were woeful at the Stadio Olimpico, and surprisingly lost 3-0 to Roma to lose their hold at the top of the table.

See how the players are rated from the game:

Courtois: Made some decent saves and was continually left exposed by his defence. The scoreline could have even been worse. 5/10

Rudiger: Made a shocking mistake for the second Roma goal on his return to the Stadio Olimpico. He was awful at the back tonight and let his defence down. 2/10

Luiz: He was all over the place at the back and didn’t control his defence from the centre well enough. 3/10

Cahill: Didn’t really do any mistake at the back, but he would have to share in the blame for his team’s poor defending. He was substituted early in the second half. 4/10

Alonso: Wasn’t a decent outlet on the left, and was slow in buildup play. Tested the Roma goalkeeper with a good shot in the second-half. 4/10

Azpilicueta: Wasn’t a good outlet at the right as a wing-back and some of his crosses were over hit. 4/10

Fabregas: Doesn’t combine well with Bakayoko and his shocking bad pass led to Roma’s third goal. Was taken off in the second-half. 3/10

Bakayoko: Lost the ball countless times and things just didn’t work for him today. 3/10

Pedro: Was bright in the first half, but got ineffective in the second-half as his teammates lost belief. Had to play most of the second as right wing-back and didn’t really effect the game there. 4/10

Hazard: Started the game brightly, missed a good chance in the first-half and then faded off in the second-half. 5/10

Morata: Wasn’t his day at all, fluffed his line and didn’t have an impact on the game. 4/10

Willian: Did a lot of running after coming on for Cahill, added a little bright spark but nothing more. 4/10

Drinkwater: Brought in when the team was already down and out. Didn’t affect the game. 3/10

Batshuayi: Brought on a bit too late, didn’t see enough of the ball and had too little time to show what he can do.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
