Chelsea lost to bottom of the table Crystal Palace on Saturday, as an Azpilicueta own goal and another from Wilfried Zaha sunk the Blues at Selhurst Park.

Sky Sports presenter and former Brentford midfielder Chris Kamara thinks Sakho’s challenge on Willian in the buildup to the goal was harsh and Chelsea were unlucky in that regard.

“I agree (it should have been a free kick),” he said on Goals on Sunday.

“But that’s the bit of luck that has probably been deserting Crystal Palace.

“Antonio Conte and Willian both think it should have been a foul.

“You cannot challenge from behind in the Premier League anymore.

“Sakho’s leg goes through the back of Willian, there it is.

“Before he makes any contact with the ball, he gets him in the air and 99 times out of 100 you get a whistle.”
