Rumours have linked Carlo Ancelotti with the Chelsea job of recent after Chelsea’s poor form that led to losses against Manchester City and Crystal Palace and a disappointing 3-3 draw against Roma.

Conte said about Ancelotti: “Carlo is my friend. It means nothing. I don’t read the newspapers a lot. I don’t care what the newspapers right about other people. This is our job and Carlo is my friend. I have great respect for him. He was my coach at Juventus. He knows the club very well.”

Conte was asked if he would recommend the Everton job to Carlo Ancelotti, to which he answered: “Carlo will take the best decision for him. It’s difficult to answer.”
