Michy Batshuayi is the match winner for today’s game, as his introduction brought spark to Chelsea’s attack and the Belgian went on to score two goals to help Chelsea to a 4-2 victory against Watford.
Conte brought Batshuayi into the game on the hour mark, taking off Alvaro Morata who barely had a positive impact on today’s proceedings.
Speaking on Michy Batshuayi’s impact, Conte said in his press conference: “Don’t forget he is a young player. For him it is the first experience for him with a great team.
“He is playing a lot. Against CP his performance wasn’t good, but not just him, the whole team played bad. I have a squad and I trust in all of my players. I try to transfer this concept to my players.
“Today the impact was incredible and important and he must continue to work this way. He must have the patience but if you compare this season to last season.”
