Chelsea star Eden Hazard made the nomination for the Ballon d’Or awards as he’s among the 30-man list.
Hazard was one of Chelsea’s best players last season and propelled the Blues to a second league title in just three seasons.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has hailed Hazard for his achievements.
He said: “We all know he is talented, we know his strength and he is a really, really good talented player.
“He is a good man, a good boy.”
Conte gradually eased Hazard into the team after he suffered an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for three months.
The Italian would be hoping Hazard returns backs to his usual best as Chelsea try to recover from a six-point deficit in the race for the Premier League title.
