Chelsea are reportedly considering sending Charly Musonda out on loan in January according to a report on Standard Sport.
Musonda isn’t considered ready to play in the first team on a regular basis, especially with Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian ahead of him in the pecking order.
According to Standard Sport, Chelsea wanted to loan Musonda in the summer, but he insisted on staying to fight for a place in the first team.
Chelsea reportedly want youngsters at the club to follow the example of Andreas Christensen by going out on loan to develop before coming back to Chelsea to fight for a first team place.
Christensen, who spent two years on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, has played nine times for the first team this season since returning to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea want a similar arrangement for Musonda and are likely to send the 20-year-old winger out on loan in January till the end of the season and probably the following season too.
