Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has become a key figure at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from Marseille in 2012, contributing a number of top performances week in, week out over the past five years.
The Spain international is now one of the senior members of the squad and was given the vice-captain role after the departure of Chelsea legend John Terry.
Azpilicueta scored a goal against Watford in Chelsea’s comeback win on Saturday and what thrilled the fans wasn’t really his goal but the manner he celebrated it and for the fact that he was the last to leave the pitch on Saturday, as he chose to spend more time celebrating with the Chelsea faithful.
