Summer signing Alvaro Morata pulled his hamstring against Manchester City on Saturday and the 24-year-old has been ruled out of international duty with Spain and Chelsea will make an assessment of Alvaro Morata’s hamstring injury later this week.
The Spaniard who is reported to have suffered a grade two hamstring tear is said to be out for six weeks.
Morata would miss Chelsea’s next game against Crystal Palace on 14 October, as well as the following games below:
Chelsea v Roma (UCL) – Wednesday October 18
Chelsea v Watford (EPL) – Saturday October 21
Chelsea v Everton (EFL) – Wednesday October 25
Bournemouth v Chelsea (EPL) – Saturday October 28
Roma v Chelsea (UCL) – Tuesday October 31
Chelsea v Manchester United (EPL) – November 5
There are hopes Morata could make the Match Day squad for the game against Manchester United on the 5th of November if he recovers at the quickest possible rate.
