Tammy Abraham is a man on form as he has scored four goals in eight Premier League games, including a brace against Huddersfield Town at the weekend, and many fans and pundits have called for Chelsea to recall him in the January transfer window.
After a successful spell on loan with Bristol City last season, the 20-year-old joined Paul Clement on loan at Swansea City and he has been in equally impressive form for the Swans.
However, there’s a clause in his loan deal that can prevent Chelsea from recalling him.
If Abraham makes a certain number of appearances for Swansea by the end of the year, it would be impossible for him to be recalled.
We’re yet to ascertain the exact number of games that he’ll play to trigger the clause but with 10 games under his belt in all competitions so far, you’d expect the Swansea boss to play his star striker and kill off every Chelsea hope of recalling Abraham.
