Summer signing Davide Zappacosta has played in the last two games for Chelsea with Victor Moses out injured, and the Italian has admitted that the team must improve and return to winning ways.

He said: “We are 100 per cent aware that it is very important we improve our performance at home and we know also that we have our fans to support us at home which basically represents a 12th man on the field, and I am confident that we will manage to improve that home form.

“Watford have started very well, they have put some good teams into difficulty but we are confident we can take three points and we are going to do our best to do that.

He then added that the team’s injury problems haven’t helped at the moment but everyone is willing to give 100 percent.

“The injuries [we have had] are not good for the team because we are losing some important players,” Zappacosta added, “but all the players Chelsea have are really good players and they will give 100 per cent whenever they are called to take part in the team, and we need to give 100 per cent and try to overcome this rough patch.

“We are preparing for this game like all the other games, with maximum concentration and our manager is looking into every single detail. That is very important for us so we can tackle any potential problems in the best way possible.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
