Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata scored his eight goal of the season as Chelsea won Manchester United 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Morata had not scored in six games going into Sunday’s meeting with Jose Mourinho’s side at Stamford Bridge but the 25-year-old striker ended his drought with a fine headed effort which went past a rooted David de Gea.
When asked whether the goal against Manchester United was his most important goal for Chelsea to date, Morata told Sky Sports: “For sure.
“I told [Azpilicueta] before the game, I need one today like this. He made [the cross] and I’m very, very happy.”
