Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering selling their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £53 million.
According to a report on Bleacher Report, Borussia Dortmund want to sell the 28-year-old striker after breakdown in relations between club and player.
Aubameyang was recently fined and suspended for a game against Stuttgart after missing training and he is reportedly looking toward a future away from Dortmund.
Aubameyang was sent off during Dortmund’s 4-4 derby draw with Schalke 04 on Saturday with Dortmund winning the game 4-2. Dortmund manager Peter Bosz and goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller weren’t happy with the forward’s action during the game.
“These things happen—he was too aggressive. He wanted to get back and defend, but he ruined everything,” Bosz said about Aubameyang’s red card.
Weidenfeller was also not happy with Aubameyang’s action: “”He did a stupid thing. Picking up a second yellow in that moment was just needless.”
