Chelsea needed to win today against Manchester United to keep up pace with Tottenham and United and also not get too far off from Manchester City.

The Blues eventually got the win as Alvaro Morata scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute of the game as he nodded powerfully from a Cesar Azpilicueta cross.

A lot of Chelsea players were in good form today and put in a top performance to beat Manchester United 1-0.

Cesar Azpilicueta was one of the best players of the game and his assist for Morata was excellent.

N’Golo Kante was also brilliant today and showed why Chelsea have missed him since he suffered an injury back in September. His energy, work rate and ability to sniff danger was all evident as he protected the Chelsea defence.

Cesc Fabregas won the official man of the match award, and his performance today was great. His passing, movement and the way he made the midfield tick is just top class.

Eden Hazard was at his brilliant best today, and it was obvious from the way he was constantly fouled by United players. He toiled with the United players and had a good understanding with Morata.

Alvaro Morata was also in good form as well for Chelsea and his powerful header gave Chelsea the three points. His all round display was also top class as he constantly troubled United’s backline.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
