N’Golo Kante missed the Champions League game against Roma on Tuesday even though it was believed he would feature in the clash.

According to a report by The Independent, Kante signalled them during the game against Roma that his chances of playing against Manchester United is 50-50.

The France international has been sourly missed in the Chelsea midfield and Chelsea’s medical staff are hoping Kante will mark his return from injury against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United this weekend.

Kante wasn’t even part of the Match Day squad to face Roma, and Conte hinted after the game that the 26-year-old didn’t feel right to play and he didn’t want to aggravate his injury.

Kante, who was named the PFA Player of the Year last season, has not played for Chelsea in over a month after suffering an injury during the international break with France.
