Mohamed Salah is lighting up the Premier League and is currently the league’s top scorer with nine goals.
He never made it at Chelsea and was eventually sold by Jose Mourinho, only for the Egyptian to shine at Fiorentina and Roma, and is now back in the Premier League, as Jurgen Klopp signed him for Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
Conte has admitted he’s no stranger to the 25-year-old whom he knew from their time in Italy.
He told the press of Liverpool’s star man: “I know him very well because he played in Italy for many years. He is a good player, very dangerous and is technical but has a lot of pace. He does well to finish, but it is not just him there is Mane, Firmino, Coutinho. They have a great potential.”
The Chelsea boss was asked about his sale by Jose Mourinho, to which he said: “I don’t know, it happened in the past. He was very young, now he has done a lot this player. It is the past, I talk about the present and last year.”
