CONTE REVEALS THE MISTAKE HE DID AGAINST ROMA

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has admitted playing club captain Gary Cahill in the right of the back three against Roma on Tuesday was a mistake.

When asked why Cahill started on the right, Conte said: “I think that, honestly, I don’t want to answer this question. Not out of a lack of respect for you, but who must understand understands.

“He’s very good to play on the left. We won a league with Cahill in this position. I don’t understand why we have to try again to put him on the right.

“Maybe [it was a mistake]. I think Cahill can play on the right or the left, but the best position for me is on the left. But sometimes can happen a misunderstanding, you understand. It’s important then to clarify the situation. But for sure he will play on Sunday.”

  1. Cahill should not even play anymore. Christensen and Rudiger are there ey.

  2. Forget all the thought that we don’t need Our great captain Gary Cahil, who have single handedly deliver us from so many embarrassing defeats that would have cost us the EPL title last season. He remains our captain and a true blue legend.

  3. Captain Gary Cahil is still better than Rudiger & Christensen anytime any day, I don’t care what the haters & those who don’t read the game well said about him. He is a hero & a blue legend; we still need him in our back 3 to keep doing what he do best, which is to keep all the strikers in the EPL in check. Come onnn! blues fans! Let’s go with Our great captain & forget all the bullshits about him.
