Ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Qarabag on Wednesday, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed Chelsea must pay great attention against a Qarabag team that has drawn Atletico Madrid twice.
“I think tomorrow we must pay great attention because Qarabag have drawn twice with Atletico Madrid, and you know very well which team Atletico Madrid are. Roma struggled a lot to win against Qarabag,” Conte said.
“So we must pay great attention. It’s an important game for us. If we win the game, we go through to the next round of the Champions League.
“In this moment, that would be very important for us. I consider Qarabag a really good team who like to play football, to dominate the game.
“In the first game at Stamford Bridge, we were a bit lucky and Qarabag didn’t deserve to lose with this great final result.”
