Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, who is the player-owner of American club Phoenix Rising, last week hinted that he could retire next year.
However, when the time comes for Drogba to finally hang up his boots, the Chelsea legend who couldn’t stop scoring for the Blues will still have a vested interest in shoes.
He’s joined forces with his ‘bro’, creative director Jordan Alexander, to launch JAD, a footwear fashion brand, reports The Sun.
On Twitter, he said: “This is a special day. I’m really excited to introduce my luxury brand JAD, in collaboration with my bro.”
According to JAD’s website, its shoes represent “a true expression of heritage Italian design” and “particular focus is placed on the aggressive design and sleek curvature of exotic supercars and racing machines.”
Drogba had two very successful spells as a Chelsea player, as he won the Champions League, four Premier League titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups with the Blues.
