In last season’s fixture between Chelsea and Manchester United at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho pinned Ander Herrera on Chelsea star Eden Hazard, and this marked the Belgian out of the game.
With Hazard beginning to pick back form, there are fears that the Manchester United manager might employ the same tactics once more.
But Hazard has revealed that if this happens, he will find all possible means to shine in the game.
“I don’t know, depends on the strategy that they can have, I remember last year at Old Trafford, maybe yes,” Hazard told Sky Sports.
“But if that happens [being man-marked by Manchester United] I need to find a solution to shine. That’s my reason.
“Last year at Old Trafford we didn’t find [a solution].
“So I hope on Sunday we can find something good, not just me but the eleven players on the pitch to win this game.”
Asked if he is already thinking about Mourinho’s strategy to stop him, Hazard replied: “I’ll just react on the pitch in the moment.
“Because you never know the strategy before the game.
“So when you are focused on the game you are thinking about scoring goals or creating a chance, you see what happens.”
