Liverpool have the advantage as they host Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend at Anfield.
Liverpool have an extra day of rest after their 3-3 draw with Sevilla in the Champions League, and while there had been fears over Chelsea’s schedule – as the Blues play Liverpool in just 72 hours, after 3,000 miles of travel in the visit to Baku – but Hazard who was subbed off early says the nature of the match has left them in top condition.
Hazard has said he’s ready for the game against Liverpool.
Speaking to BT Sport about his early withdrawal, Hazard said: “Yeah we have a big game on Saturday, so some of the players can rest today or were on the bench.
“I came off, N’Golo [Kante] too, so yeah it’s easy. So we only play 60-65 minutes and we’re ready for Saturday.”
