N’Golo Kante is seeking to win his third consecutive Premier League title, having won with both Leicester and Chelsea in the past two years.

Manchester City are 11 points ahead of Chelsea and are yet to lose a game this season, but the 26-year-old, who recently returned from injury, is determined to close the gap on Pep Guardiola’s side.

“The big teams are up there,” he said.

“Manchester City are well ahead, but the other teams are battling. The league is long and a lot can happen.

“We have to take it match by match, and we have to be ready to win because it’s not finished.

“I have been happy to come back from injury and play. It’s not easy to be away from the pitch.

“Whenever I am on the pitch I am happy and I try to give everything with my team-mates. I feel good. I am feeling better and better. I am almost at 100 per cent.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
