Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has revealed he was happy to leave Anfield with a point after the Blues had fallen behind to a goal from former Chelsea player Mohamed Salah.
Willian scored a late equalizer after lobbing Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
“I think it’s a good point,” said Kante.
“It was a difficult game against a tough team. I think we had the best chances but we didn’t score. They had most of the ball, but we defended together and we are happy with the point.
“I think we deserved to score a goal. We are happy for Willian and we are happy for us. I don’t know if he meant it, you will have to ask him, but we are happy for the goal and I think we deserved it.
“This was one point against a good team. Next we have Swansea at home on Wednesday and we have to get back in the winning way.”
