KLOPP THINKS CHELSEA ARE MISSING MATIC AND COSTA

Liverpool will play host to Chelsea on Saturday evening at Anfield and both teams will be fighting for the three points.

This fixture ended in a 1-1 draw last season as Chelsea went on to win the Premier League.

The Blues are currently third in the table and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp thinks the sales of Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa slowed down his progress.

“They lost decisive players with Matic and Costa,” said Klopp.

“With Chelsea last year, everything worked.

“They didn’t need many chances to win a game. It’s difficult to play the same season again, especially when you lose players.”
