Alvaro Morata powered a 55th minute header past David De Gea in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Manchester United, notching his eight goal of the season, much to the delight of the crowd inside Stamford Bridge.
De Gea was rooted to the spot and didn’t move as Morata’s header flew into the top right corner.
Speaking about De Gea after the game, Graeme Souness revealed his surprise that the United goalkeeper couldn’t even move. Souness said: “How many times do you see David De Gea not moving when the ball is going past him?
“He’s just rooted here. He’s normally not very far away from shots and headers, but here he just doesn’t move.”
