Another awesome performance from the Blues, as Antonio Conte’s men ran riot away at Qarabag with a 4-0 victory to seal our passage into the next round of the competition.
See how the players fared in this game
Courtois: Had nothing to do in this game as Qarabag only had one weak shot on target. 6/10
Azpilicueta: Wonderful performance from the Spaniard. Started out on the right side of the back three before switching to the left wing-back role in the second-half and he was amazing. 8/10
Luiz: Comfortable evening for the Brazilian in the middle of the back three. 7.5/10
Rudiger: Was comfortable at the back as Qarabag attack couldn’t break through and gave a fine pass to Morata in the second-half. 7.5/10
Kante: Disrupted Qarabag’s passing flow in the middle before his withdrawal for Drinkwater just after 75 minutes played. 7.5/10
Fabregas: Awesome performance from the playmaker. He started the move for Chelsea’s first goal, made the midfield tick with his passing and gave a number of defence splitting passes. Calmed his nerves from the penalty spot after he had to take it again. 9/10
Zappacosta: Decent performance from the right flank as he started out in the right wing-back role. 7/10
Alonso: Decent performance, but got a needless yellow and found it difficult to cope with Donald Guerrier at times. Was eventually taken off for Cahill just before the hour mark. 7/10
Willian: Five star performance from the Brazilian. He scored a brace, won two penalty kicks for the team and constantly destroyed Qarabag’s defence. 10/10
Pedro: Good game from the Spaniard but should have gotten on the scoresheet. Was involved in the buildup to Willian’s first goal and had a good understanding with the Brazilian and Eden Hazard. Had one great run that almost ended in a goal. 8/10
Hazard: Amazing performance from the Belgian. Scored the opener from the spot kick and his beautiful flick created the assist for Willian’s first goal. He was at his best this evening. 9/10
Subs
Cahill: Comfortable evening as he joined the fray just before the hour mark. Came on for Alonso. 6/10
Morata: Came on for Hazard on the 65th minute. Entered into good scoring opportunities but couldn’t find the target. Fell too easily at times. 5/10
Drinkwater: Had fifteen minutes on the pitch as he seeks to get fully fit. 5/10
