According to Italian media outfit Calciomercato, Serie A side AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea’s Brazilian star Willian.
Various reports had recently claimed Chelsea are seeking to sell Willian in order to fund a move for PSG’s Brazilian winger Lucas Moura and AC Milan are reportedly interested in a move for Willian.
Reports claiming Chelsea want to sell Willian in order to fund a move for Lucas can’t be trusted as Willian is ahead of Lucas in the Brazilian national team and has also played more football than Lucas who has played just 71 minutes of league football this season.
While I can’t trust the reports claiming Chelsea are seeking to sell Willian to fund a move for Lucas, it’s also important to note that anything is possible in the game of football.
Willian is loved by Chelsea fans and fans won’t be happy to see the Brazilian leave Stamford Bridge. If Antonio Conte is considering selling Willian, Chelsea shouldn’t be replacing him with Lucas.
Would selling Willian be a wrong move or right move by Chelsea?
