Mohamed Salah earned the respect of Chelsea fans on Saturday when he refused to celebrate after scoring Liverpool’s only goal of the game.
His goal, which was his 15th for Liverpool this season, put them in front, before Willian equalised for the Blues late on.
Despite not being afforded the chance to shine for Chelsea, the 25-year-old proved his class to the club he made 19 appearances for, as he didn’t celebrate his goal and was praised by Chelsea supporters.
Also, cameras picked up Salah before the game reuniting with the Chelsea staff and saying hello to his former team-mates.
He then gave a deep hug to David Luiz who had been watching from a distance.
