When Chelsea signed Alvaro Morata during the summer transfer window for a club record fee of £60m, there were some doubts over the Spaniard’s ability to adapt to the Premier League.
However, with 8 league goals to his name already, there’s no iota of doubt about Morata anymore.
And Swansea boss Paul Clement, who worked with Alvaro Morata during his time at Real Madrid believes that the Spain international is perfectly suited to life in England.
He said: “When I worked with him [Morata] he was always a good player. He did not play much because he had Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo ahead of him.
“In the second year he went to Juventus and where he really took his opportunity to play week in week out. He played more at Madrid the second time but this was a good move for him.
“He is a good fit for the Premier League, he is good in the air, has good pace and his style suits this league.”
