Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham who’s currently on loan with Swansea City, was given an invitation to join the Three Lions senior team ahead of England’s friendly games against Germany and Brazil.
The 20-year-old could make his debut for his country’s or Brazil as England take them on in friendlies this week, and he has revealed his delight.
“It would be a massive achievement for me to face either Germany or Brazil. I feel like I am ready. But I know that it won’t be easy and I just have to do the best I can,” Abraham said.
“Harry is a player that I look up to. He does everything really well both on and off the pitch and is a role model really.
“But I’ve been given this opportunity, like others have been, and once you have it you have to take it.
“It shows I am doing something right, but it doesn’t mean that I will always be here. I just have to keep working hard and prove myself at this level.”
