Two Chelsea youngsters have received England national team call-ups for the first time in their career.
Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been named in the senior England squad for the first time ahead of the Three Lions’ showpiece friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
Tammy Abraham is on loan with Swansea and has done a good job so far while leading Swansea attack, while Loftus-Cheek has impressed for Crystal Palace despite their poor start to the season.
The two Chelsea academy products have put in impressive performances for Crystal Palace and Swansea respectively this season which have earned them a senior call-up as the build-up to next summer’s World Cup begins.
