Chelsea winger Willian will captain Brazil on Friday against Japan when the Chevrolet Brasil Global Tour roles into Lille.
The 29-year-old who’s one of the senior members in the Brazil squad will become the 14th player to start with the armband under coach Tite.
Willian who has lost his place in Tite’s preferred starting line-up to Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho will have another opportunity to stake his claim over Tite’s preferred Coutinho on the right of midfield, and show Tite what he has to offer.
