Ethan Ampadu moved to Chelsea from Exeter City early in the season while he was still 16.
The player who turned 17 in September can fit in as a holding midfielder and a ball playing centre-half and has already made his Chelsea debut, and the youngster has even revealed that he supported Chelsea as a kid growing up.
He told the official Chelsea website: “I was always a Chelsea fan growing up, it was always a dream of mine to play for Chelsea and so when you get given the opportunity, you want to try to do that.
“I just liked Chelsea and what there was there, and growing up I liked Didier Drogba. He is not my position but I liked him as a player and when I became a centre-back, I used to look at role models like John Terry and Gary Cahill.”
Ampadu has already featured for the Chelsea senior team as well as the Welsh senior team.
