According to a report on Daily Mail, Chelsea are prepared to let goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge for free instead of selling him this summer.
Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the 25-year-old goalkeeper as a long-term successor to Keylor Navas with several reports claiming Real Madrid will submit a bid during the summer.
Courtois has only 18 months left in his Chelsea contract and he is yet to agree terms with Chelsea on a new contract.
Courtois is reportedly on Real’s three-man goalkeeper shortlist that also includes Manchester United’s David De Gea.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to let Courtois run down his contract rather than cash in on him.
