Chelsea Under-18s began the defence of their FA Youth Cup crown with a comfortable victory at Aldershot on Friday evening.

A double from Callum Hudson-Odoi set us on the way before late goals from George McEachran and Tino Anjorin settled the third round contest against Scunthorpe. The damage inflicted could have been far greater had the hosts been more ruthless but a clean sheet plus a safe passage into the next round was enough to leave manager Jody Morris satisfied in our final Under-18s game of 2017.

Experienced youngsters Reece James and Ethan Ampadu who recently made his Premier League debut started the game for Chelsea in what was a comfortable victory for the youngsters.
