Chelsea defender David Luiz has missed a bulk of Chelsea’s games in over a month now. The Brazilian hasn’t played for Chelsea since the trip to Qarabag last month, missing Chelsea’s last six games.

The 30-year-old has lost his place to youngster Andreas Christensen, and with injury, he has failed to even make Matchday squads.

Antonio Conte has confirmed that Luiz is frustrated at his situation.

Conte said in his press conference at Cobham: “I think every player is frustrated when they don’t play, especially when they have an injury.

“For sure there is a lot of frustration for the injury because every player to train and try to put the coach in difficulty with their selections. I understand because I was a player and when I was injured my feeling was very bad.”
