Eden Hazard didn’t make the starting eleven against Stoke City as he was left on the bench all through the game.

Antonio Conte revealed before the game that he simply wanted to give Hazard a much-needed rest.

He told Sky Sports shortly before kick-off against Stoke: “I think when you play every two days it’s very important to give a bit of rest.

“Especially for the players that are playing a lot – for us they are very important players. I think to make a rotation is the best way, also because I give a chance to other player to show me they deserve to play.

“But in this aspect I am very happy for the responses of my players every time I ask for a response.”

It’s a good move by Antonio Conte , It’s like he did it diplomatically if Hazard wants to leave let him go , that’s football but a good friendship with your players Is what I crave for, let’s keep fighting guys Chelsea is a good team, my support from Zimbabwe is very much worth
