Chelsea play host to Brighton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon, and Seagulls defender Lewis Dunk has admitted that the team needs the three points.
Brighton are in a bit of bad form and have won just one of their last eight (D3, L4) and have only scored twice in their last six league matches.
However, Brighton defender Lewis Dunk has admitted that while they don’t expect to get the three points at Stamford Bridge, they’d be hoping to do so.
He said: “We are not expected to get anything at Chelsea and to get that three points at home was massive, especially after the run we have been on.
“And it’s gives us a bit of leeway going to Chelsea. We obviously want three points, but that’s given us the insurance.”
