Chelsea had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the last group game of the tournament.
Chelsea needed to defeat the Spaniards to qualify as group leaders for the second round of the Champions League.
Eden Hazard provided the cross that led to our equaliser and the Belgian, who produced another eye-catching display, believes that Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak was the only reason Chelsea didn’t win the game.
“We had enough chances, but the only problem was that their goalkeeper was on fire,” he said.
“We should have scored more goals, won the game and finished first in the group but we drew.
“It was a good draw though because Atletico Madrid played very well and they are a strong team, so we are happy.”
