Despite the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, Chelsea are still being linked with strikers in the transfer.
Red Star striker Richmond Boakye is a name that has been scarcely linked with the Blues, and the Ghana international who is in form has admitted that he will like to join Antonio Conte’s men.
After bagging 23 goals from his first 28 games of the season for the Serbian club who currently maintain a nine-point lead in their league, Boakye has admitted that he would be interested in joining the Premier League champions to set up a reunion with Conte.
“Conte wanted me and bought me to Juventus from Sassuolo,” Boayke explained last month. “For me he represented a great coach and I’ll always thank him.
“I remember when I was loaned to Elche because there was no room for me, he called me to remind me that I had all the qualities. For a 19-year-old boy, it was very satisfying. If he wants me, I’m so happy to find him again.”
