Kyle Scott has hit a stalemate with Chelsea over a new contract according to a report on The Sun.
The 19-year-old midfielder has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract and Chelsea are keen for him to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer of 2019.
Scott was on the bench for the opening two Premier League games of the campaign and the League Cup win at home to Everton but is yet to make his Chelsea debut.
According to The Sun, contract talks with Scott has hit a stalemate because the teenager feels he is at a junction in his career where he needs to be playing regular first-team football to aid his development.
Leicester City and Huddersfield are reportedly monitoring his contract situation with Chelsea.
