David Luiz missed Chelsea training on Monday ahead of the Chelsea’s Champions League game with Atletico Madrid.
The Brazilian continues his recovery from a knee problem and won’t be a part of Tuesday’s game against Atletico.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte revealed last week that Luiz has fluid in his knee, and will be out of action for a while.
The 30-year-old has been receiving treatment at the club’s training base in Cobham, and sat out training on Monday to work with the club physios indoors.
Charly Musonda also missed Chelsea’s training session at Cobham as he continues his recovery from a knee problem, but Conte had the rest of his squad available as they prepared for the visit of Diego Simeone’s men.
